Thank You for Joining the Conversation
A massive thank you to everyone who joined Edan Haddock at ATC 2025 for “A Conversation on Men’s Health”.
Together, we opened up an honest and powerful discussion about how men’s health affects all of us in our homes, workplaces, and communities.
This wasn’t just a conference session. It was a moment to connect, challenge stigma, and rethink what it means to truly support the men in our lives.
What We Learned
During the session, Edan discussed how men’s health remains one of the most critical and often overlooked issues today.
We learned that:
- 1 in 5 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer.
- Testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men.
- Men die, on average, five years earlier than women, often from preventable causes.
- One man dies by suicide every minute around the world.
These aren’t just statistics, they represent our fathers, brothers, mates, partners, and colleagues.
Edan reminded us why Movember exists:
To create positive change so men live healthier, longer lives.
He explored Movember’s impact across three key focus areas:
- Mental health & suicide prevention – helping men form stronger connections and open up early.
- Prostate cancer – improving treatment outcomes and quality of life.
- Testicular cancer – encouraging early detection and awareness.

Movember at Work
Edan highlighted how workplaces are one of the most powerful platforms for impact. They’re where conversations begin, friendships form, and support networks grow.
Running a Movember campaign at work means you can:
- Unite your team around a cause that impacts everyone.
- Boost connection, engagement, and morale.
- Drive social impact while supporting wellbeing.
- Create a culture where men can show up authentically and feel safe to open up.
